Reg: Airtel Customer Care

COMPLAINT NO. 117130640 DATED 30 APRIL 2020 & 112894010 DATED 27 MAY 2020 – INFLATED AIRTEL BILL FOR THE PERIOD OF 26 FEB 2020 to 25 MAR 2020 AND 26 MAR 2020 TO 25 APR 2020 AND SAFE CUSTODY OF BROADBAND CONNECTION

Various attempts to contact Airtel Customer Care for resolving issue of inflated bills for my airtel number 05224072602 and keeping my Broadband connection in safe custody with effect from 20 May 2020, due to being stranded out of hometown due to National Lockdown from 22 Mar 2020, have been unsuccessful.

Emails dated 29 March 2020, 8,13,17,29 April 2020, 4,11,18, 20 & 27 May 2020 Regarding Correction of inflated bills for the period 26 Feb 2020 to 25 Mar 2020, 26 Mar 2020 to 25 Apr 2020 and 26 Apr 2020 to 25 May 2020 and keeping my Broadband connection in safe custody, were written to Airtel Cutomer care, but no reply from them was received, except an automated recorded email to use Airtel Thanks App.

Customer care number has always been unresponsive since lockdown.

I am a customer of Airtel since 2006 and have the undermentioned issue for your attention that
I have paid my normal broadband monthly rent Rs 471/- on 15th April 2020 and on 07 May 2020.

I had lodged a grievance on AIRTEL App, but the above issues remains UNSOLVED.

FURTHER, PLEASE NOTE THAT I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO REACH MY HOMETOWN LUCKNOW SINCE LOCKDOWN AND HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO USE MY BROADBAND SERVICE SINCE THEN.
HENCE IT IS REQUESTED TO WAIVE OF MY BROADBAND CHARGES FROM 26 MARCH 2020 TO 25 APRIL 2020 AND 26 APRIL 2020 TO 25 MAY 2020.
I ALSO REQUEST FOR KEEPING MY BROADBAND CONNECTION IN SAFE CUSTODY UNTIL TRAIN SERVICES ARE PERMITTED BY GOVERNMENT OF INDIA SO THAT I CAN REACH MY HOMETOWN LUCKNOW
