I am using prepaid airtel number. Unlimited calls and 2gb data usage per day. When I wake up everyday, Airtel send sms to me that I used full data. They also send tarrif about data extra purchase.

Yes. Same thing is happening with me. They show I used 3gb data when I actually used only 1gb data.

I have 1.5gb plan on my father phone, and he barely uses 250mb on day basis, but when at night around 10:00 am I turned on hotspot Airtel texted 100 percent data usage alert, when in reality most of the time it was less than 1gb or 700mb usage in daily data stats including hotspot usage.
airtel send early message of 100 percent data have been used and reduces speed without touching the limit we are actually paying for. airtel actually fooling us because most of the people don’t use their complete data in a day.
I got 70% data usage massage. Then I didn’t use data, within a hour got the message for 100% data usage alert.
In the night time, network is very Slow.

This happened to me as well. I wanted to log into my online class yesterday and to my surprise it said all of my data was finished at 9.30 when I hadn’t touched the data.. This is crazy cuz what am I exactly paying for if they fool us like this. And then the customer care had the audacity to tell me I used it all. Like where?!
I recharged new plan at 9.5 am. When i tried to see my avialable data it showd 1.6 gb data left istead of full 2 gb data.
When i complained they told me that i hv been used it anyhow…

Within 1½ hours, 1.5gb is getting completed. I don’t know how but it’s just happening.
As the airtel is saying for better network coverage or high speed net i dont know where is all the shit they been talking bout from a year the cellular network is so frustrating that i have switch to bsnl for better internet i mean the lies they spread should be restricted only true facts should be published there. Internet is fucked up it cant even download a 20mb file. So fucked from this network and one more thing they dont let you complain in customer care whatever you try calling to
Same here.. I have a 2GB/Day plan. I got message for 50% usage at 11:16 AM and 100% usage at 11:24 AM. Airtel in my area is not that fast that I will use up 1 GB data within 8 mins. Airtel is cheating the public.
For me too? because of this I couldn’t attend my classes
Airtel is a big cheater.. 3 GB gets consumed immediately. Because of this, my kids are not able to attend classes
Yes, it happend to me as well today. I recharged today morning with 558/- (3gb/per day 56days) and i just switched for ‘mobile network’ option, and didn’t use it. After 30mins started messages says 50% data completed, then in another 5mins says 90% completed, and in another 4mins 100% used.
It was not happened earlier when recharged with 398/-.

Yes same thing with me, my data get exhaust 100% within 6 mins only after starting mobile data from 1 month this issue is there. In our area there is about 1-3 mbps speed. But can you imagination without using the data, it get exhaust 100%? How is it possible. Airtel is eating our data without any mean. As I am NEET aspirant nowadays it became very important for me to learn live online. But due to Airtel our students life is becoming very scared >_< .

Samething with me too. I am on 1.5gb/day plan. I got 50% usage msg. Then while I was downloading 183mb file, at 50% mark, I got 90% usage msg. How can it consume 500mb when it downloaded only 90mb.
You all guys are so lucky. You all downloaded or browsed something on the internet. I didn’t even switched on my Airtel My Wi-Fi. It’s showing 0 mb available…

Turn off your mobile data at 1159 pm and wait for 20 to 30 minutes. After that open airtel app and turn on your data you surprise to that you already used 500mb to 1gb data as per your plan
Airtel are becoming useless! I’ve only just opened a page on opera mini and 50 Mb has being used up. They are thieves disguising as a company. They’ve been doing this for some time now. My data of 1.5gb gets exhausted while I barely touch it.
First of All, Airtel is messing up big time. I buy data of #500 for 2gb 2 days binge data plan…bit I only get fractions of 2 gb, like now I got 1750 mb, i.e 1.75 gb.
Second, Any time I buy any data plan I always cancel auto renewal, but I just got charged #100 for 200mb daily plan auto renewal from as yesterday…when I made such a purchase. I tried to go online to find a way to reverse the data to airtime, but *121*6# only shows bank codes for making airtime purchase. As if it isn’t enough I can’t reach Airtel customer care to tell them to help me reverse it….no customer service personnel….Airtel used to be very Wonderful but they are not doing good now. Please I am not satisfied with such service.
My data plan is 2 gb per day…but the thing is that 2 gb finishing so early and replying with offer message…please recharge fastly that you can enjoy internet

Ok,the same thing happened to me today. Just used data for 3 hrs and message came stating 100% data used and reduced my data speed but infact data is available. Dont know why airtel is cheating people. Usually my data would last for night 11 P.M but today by 1 30 PM data just got over like that.
Airtel cheats in 2 ways…
1. they add all the previous days data usage after 11pm to next day, even if you have not exhausted your quota
2. they deduct huge amt of data with each download. for e.g., if you dwl 200mb file, they’ll deduct 300-400mb.
no use complaining here. this consumer forum is useless.
My package is of 3gb and unlimited calls, while the airtel is showing 50% used in only 1.10 gb, and this is not the first time, it happens always!!! Please suggest me some way to deal with this fraud company!!!
Here is phone number I got from Airtel customer care to complain my issue. +91 98571 11333 and if it didn’t work use this one +91 98160 49209 ( name – risheb Sharma ) I was facing this problem too. I have to work online and because of net issue I am not able to do it. I feel so angry at Airtel. They should solve the issue. I message on the first number they checked it but didn’t reply. Before this I was facing 1 bar network issue. It somehow they resolved. But I don’t know why they aren’t saying anything about it anymore. Try to use these number and let me know if soemthing happen.
