I have recharged for “Truly unlimited” plan where ideally all calls in India should have been free.
But I am not able to call bank customer or similar numbers starting with 1860 or 1800.
This is unfair as when the plan is sold to us, they had not mentioned about these so called special numbers.
On top of all this, as it was urgent for me to call bank to block my card, I made an additional recharge, and still I am not able to connect to 1860 numbers. IVR says it’s a special number and I need to visit Airtel’s website, where there is no information about this.
Also the Airtel customer care doesn’t connect me to any person and always just IVR.
Now my card is still not blocked and I am at risk.
I see a ton of similar complaints here but clearly no action is taken as the problem is persisting. Can you please take an action on Airtel or any other provider causing same problem.
