My number is almost 10 year old number , I was coming to russia and recharged with 4999 pack of 27 June 2021 but later realized after checking more details that it doesn’t covers Russia so I bought another roaming pack 3998 for Russia which cover Russia and asked customer care to cancel 4999 pack . Also I was trying to check with customer support before recharging but it didn’t worked . Airtel app didn’t gave me any information about 4999 pack validity and countries covered , only information was that it is unlimited pack. I have screen shot for all this which I am writing here .
I landed in Russia 28 June 2021 and realized 4999 pack got activated even after buying pack which work for Russia and then now in app it is showing that 3998 pack also got activated and working but my number got blocked , even incoming sms on which my whole banking depending was blocked . There was no network issue on hardware , when I can calling anyone getting ivr that this number is blocked . first 5-6 days number was working but then it was blocked for more than 20 days.
I got call from airtel , they asked me that they will call me back but no one called , I got sms that are you happy with resolution but I was not offered any resolution for anything .
My number was blocked for more than 20 days and my banking and all work was impacted due to this , Airtel customer care is not listening and very rude . Case were closed without even checking anything . I need refund and also action towards my loss because of airtel during my Russia visit .
