My Airtel broadband no. 08041321206 was disconnected on 19th Jan 2021, as per my confirmation to their executives when they called me over phone asking if I wanted to renew the connection. After 19th January, the connection has not been there. Suddenly Airtel Executives have started calling me since last few weeks asking me to pay in advance an amount of 6k for the period February 2022 to July 2022. Mine is a prepaid connection and the same expired on 19th January and also disconnected. They informed me that the connection has been reactivated on 27th February 2022, and hence i need to pay the due amount for the period from when the reactivation has been done – and in advance for next 6 months. Now, when the connection is disabled, how can they enable it after 40 days of disablement, without any concurrence or request from me? Everyday about 3-4 representatives or agents of Airtel call me and literally harass me. They are just forcing me to make the payment for a connection that i never requested for, and never used. Writing to their officials over email also has not helped. I feel threatened with their calls. Please help in getting this closed. I do not find any reason to pay this amount.
