On 18th of July I requested for airtel broadband services in my area and few minutes later I got a call from them stating that feasibility in your area is there and you may receive 10-12 mbps speed and asked me to pay ADVANCE RENTAL FEE of 2474/- Rs. Afterwards on monday technicians came and spoke to me mentioning that there will be a speed of 2-3 mbps only so I said I want to cancel this, they contacted the operator who spoke to me in the first place and that same person guaranted me my refund under 3 days.
Guess what, after 3 days I called him he said sorry sir your refund will be processed in another 3 days. So I waited a week for the money which I gave them in return of nothing but grief. After 1 week he said sir it will take 4-5 days and after waiting even for 4-5 days my refund didn’t come to me. Then I tried contacted him(operator) but he started ignoring my calls, texts and everything.
then I tried contacting the branch manager, he assured me your money will be refunded under 7 days and guess what today is 22nd day and I have still not got it. I don’t recommend anyone to go for airtel it’s pathetic service afterwards and even before installation. I’m a student right now and 2474/- rupees are alot for me which I can’t afford to lose for nothing. Please help me.
