Airtel and Jio have provided a 5g plus unlimited plan where users can get access to unlimited 5g internet on their mobile. In case of Airtel you need to buy a plan that claims unlimited 5g internet support. My device is iPhone which has 5g support and city is Delhi which supports 5g internet the two condition for 5g to work. I was using unlimited 5g for two days comfortable after which they started deducting data from my prepaid plan and once the data was over the speed reduced to 500 kbps. Even when speed is 500 kbps my phone never connects to their 5g plus network which will provide unlimited network. The airtel is controlling who gets 5g plus network based on their network usage which is a privacy issue as how they are able to detect data used by user and set 5g plus network for them accordingly. Airtel is scamming people to compete with Jio which provides true unlimited data. A strict enquiry should be done unless they start providing what they claim. Total fraud company and I’ll switch to Jio soon.
