The incident happen when I received a call from AIMRO INFOTECH on 5th of September. Then I’ve received a text from HR-RAJ about the further details and the address of the office. The lady asked me to carry my Resume and pancard photo. After I went to the office the next day, the HR gave the details about the job that it has 3 different packages. The more salary package if chosen, the more processing fees plus security deposit is needed to pay. Therefore I chose the lowest package of Rs. 5000/- from which processing fee of Rs. 2000/- is non-refundable and the remaining fee of Rs. 3000/- is taken as security deposit that is said as refundable with the salary of Rs. 18,000/- every month plus Rs. 500/- per month till 6 months. And my job was to type from 200 jpeg images separately in a company software and needed to submit within 15 days. Then I paid Rs. 5000/- online through GPay to the Project Manager. After that they gave a receipt which I needed to click a photo and send in the WhatsApp of the Project Manager. After I sent the so-called receipt, I was asked to send my Adhaar card photo and then I received an agreement where it was written that the company expects 80% accuracy and accepts 20% mistakes. And it also said that the one who applies for the job and pay the money cannot get refund. The agreement was given to me after taking the money from me which clearly shows that its a scam. They should shown the agreement before taking the money from us. So to get rid of this job and get my money back I thought of doing it for atleast one month so that my deposited money gets recovered with my salary of said Rs. 18,000/-. I was then provided the project details. I was given some kind of work panel to submit the work within 15 days. The software they provided was very unsafe and detected malwares and viruses. The software was Winzip and from there I was asked to extract two apps NotepadPlus and Notebook. After downloading the software and installing it I opened and saw 200 jpeg images. And the images were so long that it is impossible to complete the given task in the span of 15 days. Then I searched about the company AIMRO Infotech and read its reviews which clearly shows that the company is a scam. Therefore, I decided to go back to the office and get my money back. But they denied to return my money back as it is against the company policy. I even told them to keep the processing fee of Rs. 2000/- and one month project fee of Rs. 500/- but they did not agree. They asked me to share 100 jpeg images to a friend to type (which is also against the company policy) and remaining 100 jpeg images for me to type in the span of 17 days. But no friend would help in such matters. Also they gave me an email- aimroinfotech111@yahoo.com and asked me to mail telling my issue. But I don’t know if it works or not. And now my money is stuck. I’ve no clue how to get my money back from these Fraudulent/Scam. Please help me out with this situation. And its a request to everyone, whoever is reading this please be careful from these scams of WFH (Work From Home).
