Text of Complaint by Akanksha Shripad Nadkarni:

I bought a packet of Masala lays Batch number: N203112, Mfd date 03 NOV21, 32.5 g. The packet had 2 unusual aggregates (approx 40 mm) and the whole packet had a foul smell to it. The packet was very damp from inside. The aggregates could have choked, if consumed by a kid. There are already so many cases registered against the chips quantity but this time you have put an end to my tolerance. It is difficult for me to trust the product quality now. Inspite of poor quantity that was being served to us, I continued to eat the product, because I trusted the quality and the name that the company holds. But I don’t think, I will be able to do so from what I saw today. How can a company like Lays sell such unsafe products in the market before a proper quality check is performed. If mishappening would have taken place, who would have been responsible for that? It’s a very shameful act on part of company’s negligence.
I request the department concerned to look into the matter and take necessary action. I
want the company to provide me necessary compensation as it could have costed anybody’s life.
