My issue is enlisted as under:-
I bought a mobile phone in the month of oct 2021 and along with it, i bought the 1 year complete insurance cover for the mobile from jeeves which is provided through flipkart with the anticipation that it will cover the loss in case any damage or repair to the mobile in 1 years.
In dec. 2021, my mobile got damaged due to liquid
On 3 January, i approached Jeeves with issues, they registered complaint, and at the same time i also approached the pick my mobile , and i got to know that repaired/replaced.
After four days, call me jeeves consumer service excutive sid that your mobile is not repairable .
After two days, i got a call and they said that my claim has been approved and asked me to share my account details for the refund. when i asked about refund amount, they said 6400/- which was not even 80% of the mobile invoice value.
After that when i denied for the offer of refund, they said they will get back to me. Since then they didnt call back, and doing conversation through the mail and they are forcing me to accept the refund offer.
Even after denying the refund offer, they keep sending the same mail again and again and keep irritating.
there is more than 20 conversation through mail till now, in which every time i ask for repair of the item as same is given in message that repair / replacement will not be provided.
Finally i lodged a complaint with the Flipkart and they said that they will resolve my issue in one week. but i dont have faith in flipkart also.
And now after almost 3 months of unnecessary conversation with Jeeves and Flipkart, i decided to lodge a complaint with consumer court and IRDA.
