Text of Complaint by Smital D Deoghare:

For long time we have been regular subscriber of Airtel Broadband, landline and mobile services. On 2nd September my wife had complained about repeated failure of broadband services which was disputing online classes of my son who is on 10th Std and my daughter who is working from
home. We were told that fibre network is getting ready in our Apartment (C 408, Sterling Residency, Dollars Colony, RMV 2nd stage, Bengaluru 560094) and problem will be resolved.

Everyday she was registering complaint and everyday she was told it will be addressed. Finally, on 5th your technician reached our home and changed cable from copper to Fibre optic one. He said connection will be restored in 1 hour and then said it will take 3-4 hours. we had to travel and we agreed when he said he will visit on 7th Sept morning @ 8 am. I am reproducing following SMS –

2) Hi, Your service request no. 121662712 has been assigned to engineer (VENKATSWAMY), He will be visiting at your premises between (07 Sep 2020 10:30:00 AM – 07 Sep 2020 11:30:00 AM). To track your request, click www.airtel.in/track-Hi,

3) Your service request no. 121662712 has been assigned to engineer (VENKATSWAMY), He will be visiting at your premises between (07 Sep 2020 10:30:00 AM – 07 Sep 2020 11:30:00 AM). To track your request, click www.airtel.in/track-order

4) Dear Customer, Your service request no 121662712 could not be attended by our engineer due to a technical issue.. The next appointment available for engineer visit is 08 Sep 2020 10:30:00 AM-08 Sep 2020 11:30:00 AM. Please SMS ‘VISIT Y’ to 9650096500. If new timing is not convenient, please SMS ‘VISIT N’

5) Hi, Your service request no. 121662712 has been assigned to engineer (VENKATSWAMY), He will be visiting at your premises between (08 Sep 2020 10:30:00 AM – 08 Sep 2020 11:30:00 AM). To track your request, click www.airtel.in/track-order

6) Dear Customer, For your service request no. 121662712, new timings for engineer visit is 08 Sep 2020 10:30:00 AM & your request will be resolved by 08 Sep 2020 11:30:00 AM Please provide the Happy code 8225 to engineer once your problem is resolved.

My daughter is unable to attend to her office work. It is really frustrating that just for activation for which no physical activity is required it has taken 3 days.

Request tou to intervene and ask the concerned to address the issue immediately
