I used international card where I paid foreign exchange fee too to place an order for an item on Amazon.in. the order was placed successfully. 2 days later seller contacted me saying the item is not in stock and asking me to consider another higher priced item. I declined. Now waiting for refund to be issued. Even if I get the refund, I have paid extra approx Rs. 500 as foriegn exchange fee which seller won’t be covering! I would like to raise a complain again both seller and Amazon India why they publish an item on the site that is not in stock, then authorise and clear the payment too, and then contact the buyer suggesting item is NOT in stock. This is not acceptable!!
