I had taken a new connection on 30-may-2022. I opted for 75 Mbps plan with 750 GB of data limit for 3 months.
After the installation, I checked the speed thrice using my flagship mobile and I was getting 65 Mbps on wifi. It worked well till 30-Jun-2022.
But from 01-Jul-2022, suddenly the speed dropped to 15 Mbps and maximum I have achieved is 30Mbps. I have consumed only 66 GB of data till now. I raised many complaint tickets in this regard but the tickets got closed without any intimation. Then suddenly one guy called me and told that I need a new router (dual band) to get 75Mbps speed and I need to pay 3 months rent in advance. I was never told about this during installation and I got proper speed for the first month. I strongly feel that the speed is reduced purposefully to extract more money in advance and this will continue in future too. I was getting proper speed in the first month.
I have raised one more request SR10265330439081 today but I am sure that they will close this too without any action. My current 3 months plan will get over on 31-Aug-2022. Till then I think I will have to either adjust with the same 10-15Mbps speed or pay more money to get the new router and get stuck with ACT for next 6 months. This is a pure scam and harassment and that is why these people don’t allow Airtel or hathway in my area.
Please help me to get my money back as I don’t intend to continue with these cheats.
