I have been using ACT fibernet as my ISP for almost 1 year now, I have subscribed to ACT blaze plan (100 Mbps speed and 500GB download), I received a message from ACT that my data is running low need to recharge. I could see that I have used 283 GB download and 135 Gb Upload, now I opened the ACT website (https://www.actcorp.in/blog/freedom-use-your-data) to check on the data usage policy, where it is clearly mentioned, (100 Gb is calculated separately, i.e., (100Gb upload + 100 Gb upload) as mentioned in their website. I got a call today from ACT regarding my complaint on this, the representative explained that the data you opted for is 500Gb you can either use it for upload or download, I started explaining their usage policy, where the moment I opened the same website with new policy (700Gb of Data is provided by ISP his the consumer can use it for upload or download.
This is the corporate scam Am I paying for 500GB download? But instead, getting 250GB?
