I purchased a 1.5 Ton inverter VOLTAS AC on 28.04.2019. Thorough repair and gas refilling of it was done in the month of October, 2022. Recently the AC was not cooling. So I raised complain on 14th June, 2023 which was attended by a technician (Md. Imran) on 15th evening. I told him that the indicator light was blinking continuously, and that gas was refilled last October, but he insisted that gas needs to be refilled, to which I had to agree and he refilled the gas (although I am not sure of it). He gave me a kuccha receipt of Rs. 3200.00 for refilling and servicing and went away. The AC ran well for that night, but from the very next day the same problem returned. I called him again, he came and did something and the problem was resolved for the time being. But the problem of not cooling and blinking returned on the same night. I was otherwise busy on the next day, so I could not contact the service center on that day. I tried to contact on Sunday, and after a good number of try somebody from the service center received the call. After hearing from me he said that he would call me after a while, but did not turn up. On Monday I started trying to contact the service center but failed. Finding no other way next day on Tuesday I raised a fresh complain on line. Finally a new technician Soumen was assigned by the service center, who came to see the AC. He asked me whether the earlier technician told me what was the error code, to which my reply was no. He said and showed me the error code on display which was P8. He discussed with the service center about it and told me that he would come on Thursday (i.e. today) to repair the machine. I am writing to you now at 9.30 PM, but till now nobody turned up. This morning I was able to contact the service center and he also assured me that the technician would come by this evening. But, as you can notice, nothing has happened yet. I am really frustrated with the attitude of the service center, and don’t know when my AC will be repaired. I was not excepting such kind of lackadaisical attitude from an organization like VOLTAS. So be kind enough to see that my machine is attended repaired without any further delay.
