Subject: Complaint against IDFC Bank Recovery Agent for Abuse and Misbehavior Agent Mobile number 7986904426

Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a distressing incident involving one of your recovery agents that took place on [11-07-23]. The purpose of this letter is to formally register a complaint regarding the abuse and misbehavior I experienced during my interaction with the said agent.

I hold an loan account with IDFC Bankand have been a loyal customer from almost 12 years Unfortunately, I have been subjected to unethical treatment during the recovery process, which violates both the law and the guidelines set forth by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

On [11-07-2023], I received a visit from one of your recovery agents, whose name I believe is [agent’s Mobile number +917986904426. From the outset, the agent displayed an aggressive and confrontational attitude, showing no regard for customer service or professional conduct. The agent proceeded to use abusive language, threats, and intimidation tactics, causing extreme distress and mental anguish.

I would like to emphasize that such behavior is completely unacceptable and goes against the principles of fair debt collection practices as outlined by the RBI and other regulatory bodies. The treatment I received not only violated my rights as a customer but also breached the trust I have placed in IDFC Bank as my banking institution.

I kindly request that you conduct a thorough investigation into this matter and take appropriate disciplinary action against the concerned recovery agent. It is imperative that your employees are trained in customer service, professionalism, and adherence to legal and regulatory guidelines. I expect IDFC Bank to uphold the highest standards of integrity and ensure that incidents like this do not recur in the future.

Furthermore, I would appreciate a prompt response to this complaint, acknowledging its receipt and outlining the steps you will be taking to address the issue. Additionally, I request you to provide me with a written apology for the distress caused and reassurance that measures will be implemented to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.

If I do not receive a satisfactory resolution within a reasonable timeframe, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter to the appropriate authorities, including filing a formal complaint with the RBI and seeking legal recourse to protect my rights and seek appropriate compensation for the trauma and emotional distress caused.

I trust that you will treat this complaint with the urgency and seriousness it deserves. Your cooperation in resolving this matter promptly will be greatly appreciated.
