Details of the Complaint:
On 25th July 2025, my Jio Fiber connection was disrupted due to cooperation-related work in my locality. I immediately raised a complaint with Jio Fiber customer care, clearly specifying that I was not available for communications or service calls during my working hours (8:00 am to 4:00 pm).
Despite my clear instructions, the customer care team consistently attempted to contact me during these restricted hours, which I was unable to attend due to my professional commitments.
I subsequently registered another complaint and selected the evening schedule for service. I again highlighted my availability only in the evenings. Unfortunately, no action was taken; repeated calls continued during the day, and the issue remained unresolved.
Due to this prolonged negligence and lack of basic customer support, I decided to terminate my Jio Fiber connection. I called customer care to request termination; however, even after my request, the connection remains active, and no steps have been taken for its closure.
Issues Faced:
Negligence and disregard for the specific availability instructions provided by me.
Failure to address my repeated complaints or restore my internet connection.
No resolution or follow-up regarding my clear request for service termination.
Prolonged inconvenience and loss of service, preventing my ability to work from home and adversely impacting my daily life.
Request for Relief:
Given the ongoing negligence and the mental agony caused, I kindly request the Hon’ble Forum to:
Direct Jio Fiber to immediately terminate my connection as per my request.
Ensure no further billing is done after my initial termination request.
Compensate me suitably for the inconvenience, mental harassment, and loss of service.
Direct the service provider to issue a written confirmation of the termination and account closure.
Take any further action deemed appropriate by this Hon’ble Forum.
