Text of Complaint by Sahil Choudhary:

I have been travelling globally from last two years. In the first year , I had no network in South Africa, When i came back to India, I enquired with Airtel Customer Support about International Roaming and I was advised many packages by them. Because my need was only for sms for my Banking needs, I found 1 sms pack that I activated with them and as suggested by the customer service personnel. For 1 year I was paying the regular bill which sometimes had few incoming calls and I never questioned Airtel’s Bill. Last month, Airtel sent me a Bill of around 25,000 INR on grounds of data services which I never asked Airtel to enable for me at the first place and secondly when I asked the customer service executive who called me to escalate this internally to figure out why this is only coming now suddenly after one year and kindly restore the services back as I’m a very loyal and old customer to Airtel, he agreed and promised to escalate this to their team internally and restore the services. Services got restored and I was able to make calls again and i was waiting for feedback and then suddenly I receive a system generated email from airtel again to pay the bill within 24 hours and next day i find my connection has been disconnected from service. This is complete dictatorship behaviour.
