I tried to add money to my airtel wallet 9994489394, before doing this I had 32.40 INR in my airtel wallet, I taught of doing a recharge of 598 and tried to add money to my airtel wallet account a balance of 566 INR. I tried with my credit card topping up 566 INR and the transaction got completed successfully. when I came back and check the balance in my airtel wallet the amount was 587 INR only available, I called customer care at 8800688006 and the tech informed me that there was a charge of 2% from sep month while using a credit card and this was informed by SMS.
my concern is why the company is putting soo many many ads and offers – popus in apps to promote their business, while they cant put a popup of this 2% commission charge while we make the payment. ??
this kind of stealing the money without the customer’s knowledge needs to be strictly monitored and punished by the GOV.
I will never recharge in the future with the airtel app. in concern I will soon move to the BSNL, where still the 4G itself is not available. Feeling very upset.
