I am the customer of Airtell broadband and DTH since more than 15 years and have paid huge sum for the services opted during this tenure. At the time of taking phone connection 022 40161484, I have paid a deposit or Rs. 1000 vide cheque number 328234 dated 17.01.2009 while submitting the application form No. 158026 of Airtel. The deposit is still with Airtel.
During the month of November 2020, I have converted my existing connection to the extreme fiber along with DTH services and purchased extrem setup box online by paying 2800 directly from Airtel.
I have faced lot of problems during the period, lodged lot of complaints even than not switched to other service provider”s services.
Recently in the month of January 2022, I have moved from Mumbai and asked Airtel to stop the services effective from 15Th April 2022. I requested Airtel to refund the security deposit of Rs. 1000 and 2800 for Extrem box but the same was refused by customer care of Airtel. Even than I have paid the entire amount as per bill raised by airtel.
Now, i am getting threatening calls from Airtell that i have to return the setup box wich was purchased by me by paying Rs. 2800 online to Airtel.
Need your immediate attention on refund of deposits i have with Airtel and please explain that why a police complaint should not be filed against Airtell for torturing me .
