I was contacted via Telegram by a person claiming to offer freelance income in return for an initial payment. I transferred ₹2,000 after he showed fake screenshots, Aadhaar card, and earnings dashboard. The person then blocked me. I have screenshots of the conversation, their Telegram username, phone number, and photos of the fake ID shared.
The scammer is operating in a Telegram group pretending to offer legit work. Another person from the same group also tried to scam me similarly.
The same happened he asked me to invest 5000 even he provided me a fake certificate.
