Text of Complaint by ROOPA:

I had made a request for new connection with basic plan of Rs.2394/-+ GST (at Begumpet) in April 2022. The service was provided immediately on the same very day. At the time of providing the connection, I was assured by the technician that the request for relocation will be honoured immediately and that the service will be extraordinary. But it was all false assurance. Post my relocation from Begumpet to Erragadda in June 2022, I and my husband have made at least 50-100 calls to the concerned executives, customer care for the transfer of the existing jio connection. We have made atleast 10-20 requests in the jio app. Initially it was told that the address proof is not valid. Later was told that the earlier address proof would suffice. Almost 2-3 weeks was passed in this drama. But we waited with patience believing that connection would be given. It was all in vain.
As this did not happen and another executive made a new assurance that if a new connection request is made, the same will be provided instantly. Despite paying for new connection (Rs.4200/-), the so-called connection was never given. Upon contacting another executive, he told that the old connection can be relocated, and new request is not required. Upon his advice, we cancelled the request and the amount was refunded. But till date the relocation request has not been serviced. Someday the technician is not available or the only person who is authorised to enter the gated society is very busy or on leave. Every day, one or the other false assurance was given. At last last week, 2 technicians came but again was told that some S2 Power/connection is not available. Order is to be placed and upon confirming with his manager, I was told that within a week, connection would be given. It’s been more than a week now. Now the new story is that cables are being drawn from the 13th floor of the society. So, maybe in couple of days, the connection would be given. But we are done with the most harassing service of JIO. Shame on you!! We are literally being harassed by the executives/technicians/customer care. After having experienced such a disgusting /irresponsible/ indifferent attitude of the staff and the service, we have lost the faith and no more need the service of the great JIO. We have opted for other better caring service providers.
I want refund of Rs. 2.8k along with compensation for the loss of time, mental harassment, constant follow ups and for the false assurances made by the team. We always had trusted in JIO services but this has been the most disgusting service provider ever. Kudos to the great service!! Pay heed to the customers and their grievances. Without them, you are no good.
